Freeport, IL - December 17, 1999 - Local area residents Kevin and Debra Clark attended the very prestigious Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) International Awards Conference held November 11-13, 1999 at the Marriott Desert Springs Resort, in Palm Desert, CA. The EOY program is sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP, The NASDAQ-AMEX Stock Exchange, CNN and the Kaufmann Center For Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Mr. Clark, a Freeport resident and businessman, is a past EOY award recipient and is a national judge for the event which is held each year to recognize the vision, ingenuity and success of entrepreneurs.

"It is quite an honor to be a past regional winner and to represent our area at this distinguished event," commented Mr. Clark. "There are some really inspiring success stories of both men and women who have sacrificed everything and overcome great obstacles to achieve their dreams," he added.

The program included keynote speeches from notables such as Dr. Stephen R. Covey, Guy Kawasaki, and Dr. Harry Dent. Lou Dobbs a well known TV News commentator acted as the Master of Ceremonies for the event which was recently aired on CNN.
