1) Bring'em Back Again and Again.

   Ask your customers what they want directly and give it to

   them again and again.

 

2) Always "Under Promise" and "Over Deliver."

   Customers expect you to keep your word.  The most successful

   business owners know that you must exceed their expectations

   to become your customers long term "Brand of Choice."

 

3) Empower Your Staff To Be An Advocate For Your Customers.

   Every employee who deals with your customers must have the

   authority to resolve complaints and go out of their way to

   make the customer feel like they were completely satisfied.

 

4) No complaints?  Are You Sure About That?

   Encourage your customers to tell you what you're doing wrong.

   Then use that information as a gift and make necessary

   changes.

 

5) You Can't Manage Profits If You Don't Measure Everything.

   What I mean is that baseball and basketball teams do it.

   You should develop measures to tell you how well you are

   meeting customer requirements.  Once you do you will know

   what is working and what needs improving. You can now

   optimze your profits.

 

6) Show Respect For Everyone.

   Be polite and courteous. It works.

 

7) Benchmarking Is Fundamental For Successful Business Owners.

   Learn how the best really do it; make their systems your

   own. Then improve them.
